Scott Montgomery is a Senior Vice President at Blue Vista, with responsibility for financial modeling, market research, joint venture partner interaction and involvement in all aspects of the acquisition and underwriting process for the firm’s commercial real estate equity strategies.
Prior to joining Blue Vista, Scott was a Principal of Harbor Northwest; a real estate operator focused on value-add acquisitions in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Pacific Northwest. Here, Scott directed the firm’s investment strategy, research, portfolio optimization and risk management functions, in addition to managing the acquisition of all assets. Scott began his career in Chicago at Property Markets Group; a full-service development firm focused on market-rate, affordable and for-sale residential product.
Scott earned a BBA with a double major in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of the NAIOP Young Professional Group, ULI San Francisco, and WREAA’s Northern California chapter.
