Michael is a Vice President at Blue Vista focused on acquisitions for Blue Vista’s Accelerator Fund.
Prior to Blue Vista, Michael has held leadership roles in mortgage banking, direct lending, and principal investment organizations involving over $1.5 billion of transactional experience. Most recently, Michael ran acquisitions and finance for Group Fox in Chicago. During his time, Michael led the acquisition of $380 million of apartment properties and structured over $500 million of financing. Prior to Group Fox, Michael was an owner and operator of a commercial real estate bridge lending platform with Barnett Capital. Michael’s responsibilities included sourcing complex transactions and managing the portfolio to create outsized returns with minimal risk. Michael began his career in commercial mortgage banking with Cohen Financial arranging debt and equity on behalf of high net worth individuals, middle market investment firms, and institutions.
Michael earned a BBA in accounting, real estate, and risk management from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
