Jason Schwartz is a Managing Principal at Blue Vista and Co-Head of the firm’s Equity Group. Jason is responsible for overseeing the firm’s residential investment and asset management activities across the various Blue Vista funds and separate accounts. Jason is also a member of Blue Vista’s Equity Investment and Management Committees. Additionally, Jason has been on the Board of Directors for affiliate, PeakMade Real Estate, since the company’s inception in 2011. Since joining the firm in January 2008, Jason has held several roles and has been directly responsible for investing in over $1.5 billion of commercial and residential real estate across the various Blue Vista strategies.
Prior to joining Blue Vista, Jason worked as an Investment Manager at Hearthstone, a real estate private equity firm in Chicago. Before that, he worked as an Associate at The Cypress Group, a private equity leveraged buyout firm based in New York City. Jason began his career as an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse (formerly Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette) in New York City.
Jason earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a BBA from the University of Michigan Business School and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
